Alden has held the measure of American dress shoes since 1884 — a Middleborough workshop, the Goodyear welt and shell cordovan, a craft kept close to its source. Our laces meet them in kind: weighed in every detail, cut to the length each silhouette asks for, and finished by hand in our Austrian atelier. A small thing. The one that completes the pair.
